The Château de la Plaudière offers you 10 hectares of garden and typical architecture of Sologne which will certainly add charm to your wedding in a place with exceptional character.

Surrounded by the Cher valleys, this unique site offers multiple services to make your celebration a highlight. The estate with its wooded park built in the 19th century will offer you unforgettable moments that will mark the minds of your loved ones. The Château welcomes you in a preserved setting, in the tradition of the great residences of the Loire châteaux, with all the comfort and modernity of the 21st century.

Spaces & abilities

A completely privatized domain. Numerous spaces to organize your reception according to your wishes:

The large reception room, with an area of 115m2, allows the organization of a dinner and a dancing evening by comfortably accommodating 115 seated guests (and up to 200 people in all occupied spaces),
The 200m2 terrace will allow you to organize a cocktail with a breathtaking view of the Cher valley and the castle park,
The large gallery and the dining room will offer you 80 m² to make the reception under shelter in the event of unfavorable weather.
A space is specially dedicated to the organization of a secular ceremony in the beautifully wooded park.

Accommodations

The castle can accommodate 15 people in rooms & suites with elaborate decoration which will offer a sumptuous setting to bring together all your loved ones(included in the price).

A cottage for 6 people is accessible on foot from the park(in addition) and many additional accommodation options exist in the immediate vicinity of the castle.

Exclusivity

The castle is entirely reserved for you, with no late evening time constraints.

The choice of service providers is completely free. If you wish, we can offer you a complete list of carefully selected partners who can assist you in organizing your wedding.

Services

The terrace and the 2000m2 gravelled esplanade will be made available to you so that you can organize a cocktail party. From there, you can also take your photos with the magnificent stone facade of the castle in the background. The team will be happy to welcome you to the Château for an unforgettable visit and will assist you in organizing your festivities.

Our formula allows you to privatize the castle from Friday 2 p.m. until Monday 12 p.m., which will give you the opportunity to settle in peacefully from the day before the big day and extend until Monday noon to make the most of your event and your guests!
